Sanibel Shell ID currently uses OpenAI's GPT-4o Vision API to identify shells from photos. Per OpenAI's API data-usage policy for paid API customers, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models. See OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
